The driving school needs to be authorised to apply for an exam or test on your behalf. You can do this online with DigiD via the CBR website.

This is an exam with more time and the possibility for a time out (anti stress).

This is a good moment at around 75% of your training. You take this test with a real CBR examiner. You drive for around 35 minutes, almost the same as the exam. It gives you the possibility to get an exemption for exceptional activities such as parking or making a U-turn (you can't pass for the exam with the test).

A driving test is not a practical exam, a CBR doctor does this on the basis of your gezondheidsverklaring (declaration of health) (can occur with ADHD/ADD etc.)

For example when you use particular medicine that can affect your ability to drive or when you have psychological or physical deficiencies.

You can take driving lessons when you are 16.5 years old. You can take the exam when you are 17 years old.

We will try together, it will usually take more patience and effort, but it is possible.

No. But it is a good idea to do this as soon as possible, for example after your 10th lesson. Also be aware of the long CBR waiting times.

It is valid for 1.5 years.

At every CBR theory center (21) in the Netherlands, you need to request this yourself.
